Matthew’s expertise in complex litigation and hands-on approach strengthens Ignite’s commitment to excellence in litigation risk insurance, with extensive experience overseeing diverse litigation portfolios and managing cases from inception to trial across corporate disputes, group claims, and catastrophe claims in the High Court.

Angus Eames is a Technical Underwriter at Ignite, responsible for assessing and underwriting new applications across the company’s full range of litigation insurance products. A qualified solicitor since 2016, Angus brings extensive experience in litigation and dispute resolution. He previously served as in-house Counsel at ClientEarth, where he led strategic litigation and advised on legal risk and advocacy. Prior to that, he was an Associate in the Litigation and Arbitration team at DLA Piper handling complex commercial disputes across multiple jurisdictions.
